We are a group of dedicated individuals who believe in the power that youth hold in making a positive difference in our society. At Open Economics Uganda, we are here to provide a platform on which the youth can make this difference.

Open Economics Uganda is more than just a Youth Welfare Organisation - it’s a way of life. At Open Economics Uganda, we care about what we do and strive to empower the lives of youth in Uganda through sharing Economics principles in simple jargon-free language. We engage university students in debates, workshops, and by publishing their articles on our blog regarding various economics-related topics.

Making a Difference One Youth At a Time
At Open Economics Uganda, we strive to empower the youths in Kampala and across Uganda through our activities. Our Workshops are designed to introduce youths to Economics concepts, how it affects their daily lives, and how they can make the best use of it. We are happy to add value to our community through these workshops.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Shaping the Leaders of Tomorrow
Since we are just starting out, our activities are largely driven by volunteers from different Universities around Uganda. Our volunteer opportunities are centered on instilling strong values into our youth and provides a space for them to expand their critical thinking skills while meeting and interacting with new amazing individuals.
